An interesting piece of information I recently came across is that Donald Trump is allowing Muammar al-Gaddafi to stay at his Bedford Estate. Apparently, an organization — The Victims of Pan Am Flight 103 — has started a petition to boycott the Trump organization “until such a time that Donald Trump removes Quaddaffi from his property or makes a suitable public statement as to why he allowed it in the first place”. According to The Huffington Post, “Gadhafi had wanted to pitch a tent at Libya’s five-acre estate in Englewood, N.J., and live and entertain there during the UN assembly. But local opposition turned him away…U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey said Gadhafi had shown a lack of remorse for the [Lockerbie] bombing and was ‘unwelcome throughout the New York area’.” The town of Bedford, NY, where Trump;s estate is located, is also planning to sue if Gaddafi is allowed to stay there.
